Capitol Hill Ocean Week 2024: Leadership

Such collaboration fosters the breaking down of barriers, the assumption of communal responsibility, and the development of diverse alliances essential for sustainable progress.

Central to this endeavor are the people—particularly coastal communities, both traditional and emerging. These communities often have longstanding ties to the ocean and are on the front lines of climate impacts, pollution, and species loss. Capitol Hill Ocean Week 2024 invites leaders from a broad spectrum of backgrounds to convene and share insights on innovative strategies for ocean conservation. About Capitol Hill Ocean Week:

Organized by the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation, Capitol Hill Ocean Week (CHOW) is a multi-day forum that brings together policymakers, scientists, resource managers, business leaders, conservationists, educators, students, and members of the public. The event facilitates dialogue on pressing issues affecting our oceans and Great Lakes and fosters the development of innovative policies and partnerships aimed at environmental resilience.

CHOW 2024 is open to public participation and offered free of charge. The Foundation relies on donations and sponsorships to support this important gathering.
